About Thomas

Thomas is an expert in Quality- and Supplier Management with more than 20 years of work experience in automotive business. He worked with OEMs like Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, BAIC BJEV, NIO and many more.

He was born on January 25th, 1971 in Osnabrueck, Germany.

He made an apprenticeship as car mechanic and a dual apprenticeship as industrial mechanic and mechanical engineer with diploma.

From 1995 to September 2015, he worked in various positions within ZF Group, a global automotive Tier-1 supplier. His last position there was Head of Supplier Management Asia Pacific and Head of Quality Asia Pacific in personal union. In 2015, the supplier development team he built up and managed for more than three years, was awarded top 10% most efficient teams within ZF Group.

From October 2015 to July 2018 he worked as Director Manufacturing Asia Pacific at Formel D in Shanghai. Formel D is a global, automotive service provider.

In August 2018, Thomas founded Schubkraft International Trading Ltd. .

Thomas has done various speeches at events from VDA QMC, European Chamber of Commerce, German Chamber of Commerce and American Chamber of Commerce in the areas of Time Management, Presentation Skills, Work-Live balance and Preventive Quality Management.

He works since 1999 with Chinese and he lives since 2009 in Shanghai, P.R. China.
